Although they claim to be a "sandwich shop" featuring twenty-seven selections that are both familiar and unique, they also offer fantastic fresh salads, homemade soups that change daily, a handful of house-prepared bakery items, as well as enticing specials that highlight the best of the season from local farmers' markets.

How the heck could people pick Pickles? Not even in the same league as Dads. Work directly across street from Dads.Food is unbelievable! Obviously they've never been to this place!

Yum! What a perfect sandwich they craft at Dad's - and they are SO nice, too. It feels good supporting a small local business, and their sandwiches blow any chain out of the water with fresh, high quality ingredients and unique toppings like roasted red pepper or garlic aioli.

Zac and Ally are the best sandwich makers this side of the Pecos. Name another sandwich shop that throws a party like the BFD (Boil and Fry Day) every year! Every sandwich on their menu is delicious. I love The Fat Elvis as a personal favorite.

The sandwiches here are fantastic. These guys understand flavor. Also they have sandwiches that we used to create as kids that were awesome, like putting potato chips in a sandwich. Their grilled sandwiches are my favorite and they aren't overloaded. Instead they have just the right amount of ingredients to produce the best flavor possible.

I only discovered Dad's Deli this last month... but it didn't take me long to realize it was hands down the best sandwich shop in Sacramento. I've tried so many cold and hot sandwiches - and they're all DELICIOUS! Just too many to pick a favorite! Thanks!
