Seeing any performance is worth it at the Crest!

The Crest not only stays current with the
latest entertainment of interest, but also
creates and promotes new opportunities for entertainers and entertained in Sacramento (ie All-Sketch Comedy Festival). Sid is a genius and I will beat up any one who disagrees,
or debate it with them over a hot cup of java.

Seeing a movie at the Crest is like having a nostalgic experience. The theater was opened the year I was born. In our modern society it's nice to know that some things are kept more original.

They have the latest in independent and foreign films, comfortable seats and excellent popcorn. The interior upstairs is really cool and if you're lucky, you can see a movie on their big screen. It's the closest thing to San Francisco we have here in terms of independent film with a knowledgeable staff.

They are locally owned, provide a venue for local screenings of locally produced film, and support the community

In the interest of full disclosure I work there...but I've also been in love with the place for many years beforehand--I've been going to the Crest since I was a kid--which was a LONG time ago! The memories of both movie going and live events I've enjoyed there are endless, varied and cherished!

This is a beautiful and classy theatre!
They are a huge asset to an area of downtown that needs more open businesses.
