I grew-up in Placerville (P'ville) and, I can remember the old Pearson's Soda Works Shoppe that once was, the Heart Beat of that little hill, for 50 years; hence the buildings name, Pearson's Soda Works. The mine shaft has always been an attraction to me. And being a drummer, I love the rich smooth ressonance and warm accoustics that both the shaft and the stage upstairs in the Ballroom have.
"I am so glad the Cozmic has carried-on with the Special Karmic Connection, that many of us old timers have with the place..... AND they make ONE HECK OF A YUMMMMMY SANDWICH, TOO!!!!!"

The fair trade organic coffee is THE BEST in town and the Asian Rice Bowl is my favorite meal. Cozmic has the healthiest organic food around, the vibe is the best, and the live music shows are supurb.

The Cozmic is a "don't miss" stop along Hwy 50 in Placerville. The scrumptious organic coffee is a day starter. If you can make it for an righteous healthy lunch, DO. If you can stay for a brew and music, ABSOLUTELY DO!

Love it love it love it! I can go in to Cozmic and enjoy a great cup of coffee without the noise and hustle of Starbucks or other larger chains. I love the at-home atmosphere, and they cook the kinds of food that I eat at home which makes an extra bonus!

They have a turkey sandwich that is out of this world. Even the potato chips served with the sandwiches are really really good. Really fresh, healthy food. Lots of vegetarian options as well. My favorite! (Plus free internet!)
