C G Di Arie sets the standard for artisanal winemaking. The 2006 "Southern Exposure" Zinfandel gets heavy rotation in my cellar and the new 2008 Sauvignon Blanc is a great new addition to their line. I highly recommend a trip to the tasting room!
Chaim has a great sense for taste. His reds are always drinkable on release - you don't have to store them for a few years to mellow out the tannins. They also have a great staff - friendly and knowledgeable.
We are C.G. DiArie wine club members. The wine that Chaim makes is consistent, reasonably priced, medium to full bodied and drinkable now or you can lay them down if you can wait that long! His blends are fabulous and both he and Elishiva are the most friendly and gracious people we have ever met.
Di Arie wines are by far and consistently the best we have ever tasted! We have been wine club club members for several years and look forward to their members open house. Chaim and Elisheva are two of the most personable people! Absolutely beautiful winery,setting too!
With Chaim's background in the "food taste" business, he has such a phenomenol palate - therefore, making phenomenol wines. I have yet to try one of his wines that I haven't liked. In fact, everyone in my family and all of my friends feel the same way. He has us spoiled.
