Centro. Say that out loud: CENTRO. Feels good to say it, doesn’t it? What feels even better is as soon as you enter this coffee house you’re overcome with a feeling of pure bliss and euphoria…okay, that’s a slight exaggeration but it’s really close to the truth. I’ve been a Centro-goer for nearly 2 years now and I always get the same thing, a large coffee. They know it, I know it, and I don’t think anyone else knows it but that’s beside the point. I love Centro because it truly has high-quality service (you guys rock!), a relaxed atmosphere, glittering floors made of gold (not really but it does have chairs with coffee cup shaped coffee cups carved into the back of them), and a great selection of local-made food. I’ll continue to go to Centro for as long as I live in Placerville, I will tell everyone I can about Centro when I’m not in Placerville and I will always crave Centro coffee wherever I am. A great place to hang out and have some coffee. They have friendly staff and fee WIFI internet access to boot!. They also serve the best Chai Tea Latte I have ever had.
When I sit in Centro, looking down the center of Main St. Placerville, I feel good about my home, my community and life itself. The view would be enough, but add the best tasting Americano I know (organic to boot!) and a meltingly good vegetable frittata, and my day starts out very, very well.
We have given other coffee houses in the area a chance, but we always come back to Centro. They know us there and are always so accommodating to our requests. When ever we want to relax and enjoy the atmosphere we always choose Centro. After working really hard on our remodel we always look forward to going to Centro for thier delicious ice tea and air conditioning in the summer. Nothing like it!!

When I'm in the mood for a hot delicious Mocha, I always go down to Centro. They have the best Mocha in town. They have the nicest staff and owners. The best part of Centro to me, is their fresh homemade Whipped Cream...Yummy...My FAV...
I love Centro. It has a small-town, friendly feel to it. The 10-cup purchase, get one free is my favorite! It is a great place to see everyone in town and sit and visit. The atmosphere is warm and relaxing also!
Centro coffee house is the perfect place for many reasons. those reasons include: meeting people, studying, eating and drinking great food and coffee of course and their penut butter cookies are amazing!
Centro is a clean ,inviting, well-lit (by daylight) and appetizing atmosphere. The counter help is very friendly. The internet service is superb.
The beverage selection is good, although it would be nice to have a greater variety of teas, It would also be nice to have a little more food selection, but given that everything else is wonderful I can't complain!

On Main street, in the sun's morning shadow of the historic Bell Tower, you'll find where the locals go to jumpstart their day. When you're on your way to or from South Shore on Hi. 50, reward yourself and stop by. No bitter coffee here!
This is the best "little coffee shop around" The coffee is great. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, like family. And the pastries are too good... Not to mention the sandwiches, if you happen to be there around lunch... Well worth stopping in.. I've been a regular since it first opened,and love it.
I've been enjoying my coffee daily at Centro since its day one opening. I can,t think of a better place to socialize with friends, neighbors and politicians of our area in beautiful Placerville. Theres more business, politics and small talk done in here than in the local pubs. Don,t believe me...Come see for yourself...You'll become a regular also...See you there
What is better than a warm mug in you hands and a fresh cup of organic coffee?! The coffee and espresso are the best and organic to boot. The pastries are yummy, so many to chose from. The people are friendly, the atmosphere is great!.Great place!
Centro has great coffee, friendly people and is the best place in Placerville to get a "feel" for the town. There is even an old fashioned carriage ride on the weekends.
