Located in historic Winters, California we are a destination gallery and a working studio!
Showcasing a versatile and sophisticated collection of contemporary art and craft created by over 100 artists. Briggs & Co features award winning painters with an ... show moreemphasis on plein air paintings and local landscapes in addition to a wide variety of original art. You will find sculpture, beautiful handmade jewelry, ceramics, glassware, fiber art, gifts, custom furniture, and much, much more! The sculpture garden is a creative, comfortable space brimming with ideas for exterior living. One of a kind metal, concrete, and wood furniture and sculpture, much of it created by owners Michael and Shaunie Briggs, who utilize recycled scrap iron and wood in many of their creations.
We host monthly events including art and culinary demonstrations, live music, and art workshops. Monthly exhibits featuring individual and group artists open on the first Saturday of every month to coincide with the Winters Walk art event.

I could wander around in Briggs for hours, and still find something I missed. The variety of art is amazing, very original, and there's something special about the outdoor gallery where you can browse endlessly on a sunny spring day. Lots of garden art, too.

Great indoor and outdoor gallery space with everything from imaginative sculptures made from reclaimed metal to finely-wrought jewelry, from eye-catching oil paintings to whimsical ceramic birdhouses, Briggs and Company has both the best art and the best gallery setting in the region. Their special events, such as the annual plein air painting festival and frequent chances to see artists at work and talk to them about what they're doing, are not to be missed. The owners and staff are friendly and knowledgeable, and the gallery feels both vibrant and relaxed. Something for all budgets, too.

A stone throw from Sacramento and a few steps from Davis and Vacaville, Briggs seems to always have the unique, beautiful and cool. I always see more than a few things that make me smile, from crazy garden sculptures, countless artisan crafts like functional or just funny ceramics, fine art, garden gates... you really won't find these things anywhere else. I think it's a sure bet for the hard to shop for, but I always see something for myself!

We love Briggs & Co. We live in Phoenix and make it a point to visit the gallery at least 3 - 4 times a year. The Briggs & Co, gallery is exquisite and the quality of the art is extraordinary. Michael and Shauni Briggs have created an oasis full of innovatiion and quality. Their iron pieces speak to you - you want to listen and take them home for more in-depth conversations. We can't get enough of theim!
