Boulevard Bistro is a quaint upscale fine dining restaurant located in a 1908 bungalow style home.
Best known for our Regional American Cuisine and direct focus on Californias Foothill Wines with a list of over 50 selections. We embrace locally grown produce; fresh vegetables grown in the central valley, locally raised meat, and seafood from the cold waters of the coast of Northern California.
Bret Bohlmann, chef and owner, is a 1998 graduate of the California Culinary Academy.
After several years of experience in the bay area Bret has returned home to Elk Grove to open one of Elk Grove's finest restaurants.
Boulevard Bistro put Elk Grove on the map! In a town with only chain restaurants in evidence, this place gives us bragging rights! You will not find anything of this quality without a mighty long drive to the Bay Area or Monterey! Always something very pleasing to the palate and reasonably priced too! Our FAVORITE for out of town guests and foreign visitors. The owner/chef is so creative and even his steak is the most flavorful we have ever tasted! Romantic for dinner, great for lunch or brunch! The best!
Lunch, brunch or dinner always an enjoyable experience. Great atmosphere, one of the few restaraunts that you can actually have a conversation without talking over the music.

The service at Boulevard Bistro is awesome! Everytime we go, the owner stops by our table to say hello. It's nice to have an original alternative to the chain restaurants that have taken over Elk Grove.

The service is excellent and the menu is incredible. Bret does an awesome job preparing fantastic dishes...and the shrimp cakes...out of this world good! Debbie is the ultimate hostess.

Love the food and atmosphere. Deb and Brett are always so friendly and the servers are fantastic. Brett is always serving up some great specials and the wine selection adds to the meal very nicely. You have to try his home made cheesecake. This is the best white tablecloth restaurant in the area. You have to take "out of towners" here.
This is the best restuarant ever! We had our reception there and everyone commented on both the excellent food and service. Brett and Debbie pay attention to every detail. It's been about 5 months since we had our reception there and when I recently ran into Debbie at the WOOF Whine & Dine she remembered my name as well as my hudbands and also remembered that I don't like garlic when offering me an appetizer that she had for tasting. If you're looking for a romantic evening with excellent food and service - look no further. This place is a gem and a slice of heaven!
Bret and Debbie thank you for bringing such a beautiful, intimate restaurant to our town. My husband and I enjoyed our anniversary dinner there last night. Adriana was a joy to chat with and so very attentive. Thank you for making us feel so special. We'll definitely be checking out brunch soon.
My wife and I had dinner here last night for our 4th wedding anniversary, the food, the ambiance and service was outstanding. This was our second anniversary in a row that we've spent here. Best restaraunt in the Sacramento area. Chef Bret, Debbie and wait staff always make you feel welcome and special. The service is outstanding and the food is fantastic.
Our absolute most favorite in Sacramento, perfect for a last minute lunch, like today, and elegant for a special occasion! The food is consistently delicious and creative, the wine list is varied and affordable and it's close to home.

Our BWC Club had a wine and food pairing at Boulevard Bistro. It was fabulous! the food and the service were very very good. The atmosphere is quiet and intimate. Our entire group agreed that this restaurant is a place we will visit again (and again)!
Let's be real here - I have eaten at the Kitchen and it was the most fabulous dinner but it about broke the bank. 98% of people don't eat there regularly!! Try to get in, too!

You can actually carry on a conversation in a wonderfully intimate atmosphere. The food is expertly prepared and the service is just right. Their creme brulee is my all-time favorite. Boulevard Bistro is a gem.
Brett and Debbie are VERY nice people. Their dog, a yellow lab named Trinity (for the Cajun trinity of celery, onions and peppers) is a sweetheart, too... When I visit I will have to check out what everyone is talking about - including the notorious herb garden!
