Blame Betty is rooted in the Riot Grrrl genre. We're heavily influenced by such icons as L7, Joan Jett, Betty Blowtorch, Lunachicks, and many others. We don't snub our noses at doing rad cover songs - we love them and so do our fans. Where else can you hear L7's "Shitlist" or 7 Year Bitch's "The Scratch"?! But we're also cranking out original songs that combine the best of all of our influences.
Blame Betty is all about giving 100% to our performance, not just going through the motions. If you come to see us, we want to make you glad you did!
