LIFT PILATES is located at 803 2nd Street, Suite C-1, in downtown Davis, California. With over 1500 square feet, we utilize state-of-the art Pilates equipment by Balanced Body® and STOTT PILATES®. Our instructors are trained and/or certified by STOTT PILATES®, considered the “Ivy League” of Pilates certifications. Pilates helps you move more easily, with more strength, flexibility and better posture.
We offer private Pilates sessions, duet Pilates sessions, semi-private equipment classes using the Reformer, Chair, Springboard, and Arc Barrels, Pilates Springboard, LIFT Barre®, and group mat classes. We teach people who are pre-teens to over 80 years old and everyone in between. Our clients are "regular" people: athletes, moms, dads, students, injured people, healthy people and people like you! Pilates is fun and feels fantastic! Many of our clients tell us that they used to really dislike exercising until they found Pilates.
We help women and men of all fitness capabilities create and stick with a unique and dynamic exercise program for life. LIFT PILATES is also a post-rehab Pilates studio.
We specialize in helping people with lower back pain associated with most lower back problems, including facet syndrome, spinal stenosis, spondylolisthesis, spinal instability, degenerative disc disease, herniated interverteberal disc, osteoarthritis, spinal fusions or sacroiliac dysfunction.
Posture Analysis is also our specialty, because many aches and pains are caused by poor posture. We prescribe exercises based on your individual posture so not only will you feel better, but you might even feel like you’ve grown a couple of inches after a Pilates session!
We also specialize in Injuries and Special Populations and work with clients post-rehab (either self-referred or healthcare provider referred) with various conditions such as Rotator Cuff tears, Menisucs tears, Anterior Cruciate Ligament Injuries, Iliotibial Band Syndrome and Patellofemoral Pain Syndrome. We also help clients who have osteoporosis and/or Parkinson's disease, along with balance issues do to the aging process, as many of our clients are into their 70s and beyond. When necessary, we work with your healthcare provider to help insure your continued rehabilitation and help you get back to your sport and/or daily activities.
