Full of energy and on a mission to entertain, The Erin McKinney Band rocks the newest country music on the radio as well as some of the classic rock tunes you know and love with a few of their own original songs mixed in.
Based out of Jackson California (just east of Sacramento) and originally formed in early 2008, the band is led by singer Erin McKinney, who has experience as a Nashville demo singer and has had vocal training from some of the top coaches in Nashville. Drummer Toby Spencer who has been with the band since its early days back in 2008 has been playing drums and percussion for over twenty-five years and is a science teacher at a Sacramento high school. Kathleen Golik (fiddle, mandolin, background vocals) studied architecture at the University of New Mexico and currently works for a Sacramento architecture firm. Bass player Joe Castro has been playing bass for over twenty years and has been a part of many touring bands throughout that time.
The Erin McKinney Band plays shows throughout the Northern California and Nevada regions and can be found playing at many of the most popular venues on nearly any Friday or Saturday night.
