Benton Photography, The Art of Capturing Life!
Scot and I (Sharon), along with our five kids make up the Benton Bunch and BENTON PHOTOGRAPHY! Scot and I have shared a love of photography since before our 21 year marriage began. Just before getting married we decided to each make one last major purchase before eternal marital poverty. Scot’s purchase was an Amega 500 computer...now we are dating ourselves...our flash cards have more memory than that old computer. I bought a Canon A1 camera. Over the years we added little Bentons along the way and took lots of pictures. When our oldest daughter was a senior in high school and needed senior portraits, we decided to do them ourselves ( she was such a good sport). You know what? They turned out great! From then on, we were hooked! We knew this was what we wanted to do, so we jumped in with all four feet and have been running with it ever since, and here we are! It has been a blast discovering new talents and working together on this great venture. Do we drive each other nuts? Of course, and we love it that way. (If he would just listen to me and know that I am always right then things would work flawlessly...but he is still learning!) We both have a passion for this art and each bring unique talents to our growing business. We belong to Professional Photographers of Sacramento Valley, and were thrilled to receive Wedding Album of the Year 2007, Professional Photographers of America, National Association of Photoshop Professionals and Wedding and Portrait Photographers International. We also volunteer for Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep and Shine for Him.
what fabulous photography! the benton's are extremely talented. i love your site's show. i'm using your photo's for visual reference for the commercials and films i do - hope you don't mind but i "steal" from the best! if i ever need still photography - benton - is it.
