B Street Theatre has been known for its innovative productions of new plays since its first season in 1991. A lesser-known fact is that the company was originally founded in 1986 for the purpose of bringing the excitement of theatre to children. This mission was first fulfilled when Timothy Busfield created Fantasy Theatre, a touring group that now reaches 200,000 students in Northern California annually.

We just saw the Cocktail Hour last week - a wonderful performance. B Street brings a touch of Off Broadway to Sacramento - a very intimate setting, top flight actors and a great selection of plays. Love it.

I've been going to B Street Theatre for seven years and loved every play I've seen! Great children's theatre and also the main stage is known for their wonderful comedies. Very reasonable ticket prices!
