Last year I took a tour of this place, and was disappointed. As soon as we walked into the kennel area, it had a strong urine odor, and there was at least two dogs that I saw taht had urine in their kennel. There was no overnight attendant(s) and there was also no security. There was also no door to enclose the kennels from the outside play area, which was really small. Needless to saym, I chose to take my dogs somewhere else.
Our border collie, Clarabelle, LOVES going to the Animal Den. She has her regular doggy friends to play with & gets lots of attention from the outstanding staff. She even gets the "full spa treatment" upon occasion -- their groomers are the BEST! A++++ to Animal Den
This is such a neat place. My black lab goes for day care 2 days/week and boards there when my husband and I travel. The staff is awesome, and you can tell they love what they do. What I like best about The Animal Den is that it is CLEAN and doesn't smell like a funky kennel.
My dog loves going to Animal Den, for her it is like a trip to the dog park. She loves to play, and is able to do so to her hearts content. She comes home happy, yet tired. I love knowing that the professional staff is watching out for the animals, and that my pet is having a great and safe time.
