Our mission is to provide a unique upscale experience where customers are pampered and can relax, socialize and celebrate special occasions while enjoying excellent teas and delectable treats. Tea rooms entice you to sit leisurely. You are not there to eat or even drink tea, but rather to relax and enjoy the moment of friendship. This is the main goal and purpose of our tea room making your experience here truly “An Afternoon to Remember.”

I have been to many tea rooms across the country and it is wonderful to have the very best one so close to home. My friends and I love to go frequently. Amy's classes are great! She has taught me so much about teas. The food is fabulous too.

I really enjoyed the 3 times I have been and plan on going again. I took my daughter and her mother-in-law for her birthday and they were very impressed. Great soups, quiche and soft wonderful scones. The best I have tasted. We all will definately be back.

The shopping is great as well. We are so fortunate to have such a fine tea room in our area.

Almost every person that I have taken to this place has been immediately hook on tea, scones, soup, and sandwiches. In addition, I take a month trip with some co-workers and their friends or family to come and enjoy the place. Men should come to this place - you will enjoy it!!!!

If you want an authentic English tea room experience, then you need to make a trip to An Afternoon to Remember in Newcastle. It is more than worth the drive; you will not be disappointed. The food is fabulous and the staff is friendly and extremely knowledgeable. They are last year's winners for a reason.
