The talent within the organization is far and above any others in town. The positive training methods are those that any dog owner can utilize on a daily basis. They teach owners the basics as well as how to problem solve and anticipate. I recommend them highly to all of my clients. They are the BEST in Sacramento.

I am so happy with the training I've received from 4Paws. I called them when my dog started acting aggressively towards other dogs on walks. They showed me (like they say, dog training is mostly about training the people) how to teach my dog to focus on me and not other dogs. Our walks are happy again! Thank you 4Paws!

When my dog started having behavior problems as a result of harsh training methods used by another local trainer, 4Paws helped us undo the damage and get right back on track. We learned our lesson and are much happier dog owners thanks to 4Paws University!

Our 2 year old lab mix Piper is alternately scatter-brained and highly focused (mostly on other dogs and on squirrels). She's also a little fearful and so sometimes reactive. Lisa and Kelly were very patient in helping us redirect Piper's attention and get her to focus on us. She's MUCH better than she was when we first rescued her. Thank you, Lisa and Kelly!

We have two Whippets, which are very fast racing dogs, and these two are the most well behaved, most well trained dogs ever because of this group. We take them to races, and we are never worried about losing them, having them run away, or having problems retrieving them because they just come to us. They always listen, always follow, and always stick by us because of what they have taught us. This is the greatest organization.

One of the things that I love about 4Paws is that they educate dog owners about dog behavior, not just obedience training. Kelly and Lisa are incredibly knowledgeable and come up with real solutions, unlike other trainers I've been too who blame everything on dominance and wanted me to punish my dog.

Kelly started with my dog Shep at four months (he's21 months now) and I am so glade my husband and I found 4 PAWS U, all of the girls and volunteers are so great with animals. 4PAWS U made a difference in our lives completely, this a very good school to have your big, little, puppy or adult dog attend. We did private training and that was great to see my dog change with in a few days!!!!! Number 1 school around for your dogs every need.
